Safe: Hargrove logs are cast in refractory concrete and reinforced with steel lath. They will withstand temperatures of over 2000 degrees F. and eliminate dangerous sparks made by wood fires.

All Hargrove vented gas log sets are designed to function in a fully vented metal or masonry fireplace with a natural gas supply where wood can be burned safely. The flue damper must be fully open during use.
