Fireback Installation
A fireback, can easily and safely be supported in a hearth with a pair of Saf-T-Boot TM fireback supports. the step design enables a fireback to be held at an angle against the back wall of a fireplace. Saf-T-Boots can be used with any iron grate, log dogs, andirons, or gas log system. Secure Online Ordering
3" Saf-T-Boots ~ 1 1/2" to 3" steps, 8 1/4" D, or
4" Saf-T-Boots ~ 2 3/8" to 4" steps, 8 3/4" D
Simply place the Saf-T-Boots on the floor of the firebox, one on each side of the floor, and then install the fireback into the Saf-T-Boots and scoot the fireback to the rear of the firewall. If you have a gas line in the middle of the floor, place the legs behind the gas line and then proceed to insert the fireback into the Saf-T-Boots. There you are done. It is that easy.
